Throughout term two all four learning communities at MPPS have been exploring performance by developing body movement, voice and space through improvisation, teacher and student led role plays. Students have also been exposed to different forms of story-telling by investigating traditional and historical story forms e.g. creation stories, Shakespeare and fairy tales.
Students from SLC have explored using stick puppets as a form of story-telling and have created their own stick puppet movies to share traditional fairy tale stories.
Students from CLC and YYLC have combined all of their knowledge about the elements of drama, story-telling and performance learned during semester 1 to write, perform and direct their own drama movies.
