We have been learning to sort, describe and name two-dimensional shapes in our environment.
As we were eating our snacks, we discovered the many shapes that were in our lunchboxes!
We are learning what living things need to grow so that we can help plants and animals to grow.
Did you know that some plants don’t need seeds to be able to grow?
We chopped up different vegetables and placed each off-cut into a separate container. We filled them with some water and left the containers in our STEAM room next to a sunny window. Each week we observe the changes in our vegetables and record the findings in our Sustainability Journal.
We are learning to identify, copy, continue and make simple patterns. We’ve learnt a pattern is something that repeats or continues over and over again. To support our learning we made trendy, pasta jewelry. We also improved our fine motor skills by threading pasta onto necklaces. We had fun getting hands on and creative!
