If your child is interested in learning a musical instrument, then the ukulele could be the perfect instrument. This year, Rhece is running a Ukulele club for any students interested in joining. We meet every Wednesday during lunch time where students learn the names of the musical notes, how to correctly play the instrument and most importantly, we learn lots of fun and simple songs. If you would like more information, please speak to Rhece! This afternoon, the students from Emerald group in Simon Learning Community performed a beautiful rendition/play along to the classical Mozart song 'Eine kleine Nachtmusik'. We were using the Triangles, Tambourines, Claves (rhythm sticks) and drums to beat and tempo of the music. Please enjoy their wonderful performance! Great work Emerald group!! Today, the students in orange group started their Performing Arts lesson by performing the classical song 'The Can-Can'. We are learning to use the drums, tambourines, castanets and triangles in time with the music. Great work orange group! |
