During Term 3, all students at MPPS are required to transition to remote learning. Students will primarily use Google Classroom to engage in learning. Students have daily schedules to complete assigned learning tasks, submit assignments and receive feedback from their teachers. This information is based on the curriculum content for Term 3 which students will be learning on-site or remotely. In Visual Arts, students will be required to upload a photo of their work to Google Classroom each week. This will act as ongoing assessment for the term. The focus for Remote Learning will be an exploration of some of the Elements of Art through drawing. The elements we will be focusing on will be: Texture, Form and Space. Texture Space If you want to explore some Galleries while at home, here are some great links:

PLC/SLC: Continued to explore colour mixing through different painting techniques. We swapped our paintbrushes for cotton balls, cotton buds and string. CLC: Students applied their colour theory and paper manipulation techniques to create amazing 3D artworks. YYLC: Using Henri' Matisse's paper cutouts as inspiration the students created an indoor garden in the Learning Community. It was exciting to see how well the students collaborated to create this amazing piece of art. |
