Whole-school Pre-production stage of media arts

The pre-production stage is important for students to independently and collaboratively build ideas and research concepts before creating a Media artwork.
During Weeks 2-3 of Term 2, each year level across MPPS experienced different ways to plan and prepare. Whilst Years F-2 students used storyboards to draw scenes for stop-motion animations, Year 3/4 students used mountain map planners to draw and make decisions about movie scenes such as camera angles, settings, and props.  The Year 5/6 students went the extra mile by researching about Reconciliation Week including key words, definitions and its importance - THEN translating their found information into scripts.
As Term 2 moves forward, each year level is now in the production stage of their Media artworks. Stay tuned for sneak peaks of what each year level creates!
