Deadly Dragons

Visualise in a dark shadowy corner a beastly creature lurks… the home of the dragon! The tall mountains stick into the dark clouds . In the middle of it all, a towering volcano! The smell of lava burning and steaming smoke fills the toxic air. At the very top of the fiery volcano is a nest of burning obsidian. This is what the dragon calls home…

Imagine the scarlet serpentine scales acting as a suit of red armour, burning like the sun. The sharp monstrous talons made for piercing everything they touch. A long spiny tail extends out of its barbed back, dragging across a rocky, rugged path. The most unique thing about some dragons are their arms. Attached to their wings, the arms are the most powerful part of this mighty beast. With its spiked tips and webbed edges there is no doubt this creature is a winged wonder…

Picture the fiery breath that could melt a mountain in one spark. The dragon is the guardian of us all. It soars above protecting us from harm. This monstrous beast is common in fairy tales and Chinese dragon dances. The species that are in Chinese dances are often similar to Kukulkan or the Kur but the dragons in fairy tales usually replicate wyverns or Fafnirs.
