Great Griffins

Visualise high rocky mountains, wind howling, clashing waterfalls… surrounded by water everywhere. Amongst the land, high in the mountains long lives the griffin. Crafted with hard rocks, stone and warmth is what the griffin calls home.                   
                                                          
Imagine a feathered chimeric creature with the body of a lion and the head of an eagle. This is the creature that we call the griffin. This regal creature soars in the sky with its big eagle wings hunting for prey using its deadly eagle claws to seize the quarry. The power and strength of this mythical creature resembles that of a sheet of lightning.
      
Picture griffins guarding the great sky islands introducing ALL evil intruders to death. The squawk of the griffin makes no-one want to even dare to go near it. Griffins became one of the most famous creatures for guarding sources of gold. They were strongly identified with this treasure that legend says that griffins laid eggs filled with golden nuggets.
