Help seeking

This term in Respectful Relationships, we are learning about help-seeking and how to be kind, supportive, and safe with others. Students are practising communication skills such as listening carefully, speaking kindly, and asking for help when needed. They are also exploring ways to support their peers by including others, helping friends who are upset, and recognising when it is important to seek help from a trusted adult. Throughout the unit, students will learn positive problem-solving strategies and what to do if they feel uncomfortable or unsafe, including saying “no,” walking away, and reaching out for support.
