Reading TErm 2

To end term 2 reading sessions, students read and analysed poetry. Students then challenged themselves to write a poem using sensory language, following a three stanza structure to describe the sights, sounds and feelings of a chosen place.

As I walk by,
The tigers go roar!
I let out a sigh,
Oh, there's so much to explore.

And as I walk past the very loud crowd,
 I fall something as soft as a cloud.

I open my eyes and guess what I see?
There's a fercious, stripy tiger staring at me!
