This also benefits our flexibility, strength, coordination and body awareness. Namaste. During term 3, CLC students will explore their Winter Wonderland theme in Japanese classes, learning to say some winter words. They will learn about the Japanese Winter Festival, read a Japanese story in a winter setting, make snow origami and more. 冬Fuyu (winter in Japanese). Students explored procedural writing, when they created their own super salad sandwich and then wrote their individual recipe. Students used writing lessons to describe their experience through their senses – What can I see / smell / feel / taste? We all had fun gobbling up our healthy salad sandwich. We made fruit kebabs and wrote about what we saw, smelt and tasted. |
