Students from Simon, Carome and Yan Yean LC's have learnt Japanese remotely during Term 3.
In Japanese class, students were to watch instructional videos online and complete activities including singing, drawing, making Origami, playing Kahoot and watching videos of Japanese folktale etc.
Students from Simon Learning Community have learnt how to count number 1 to 5 in Japanese.
They also have started learning a Japanese Christmas song for the last couple of weeks. We are aiming to be ready to sing the song well by the end of Term 4. Stay tuned!
Students from Carome Learning Community have learnt the topic: Japanese winter.
They have explored the topic by comparing the difference between Japanese and Australian winter and learning how Japanese animals live in the cold weather. Students were also exposed to Japanese cultures by learning Japanese winter folktales, Japanese winter events and sports.
Students from Yan Yean Learning Community have learnt the topic of nature.
First, students learnt how to say some nature words and then learnt how to use these words in a sentence. Students also learnt some Japanese nature facts.
