Spotlight on STEM: Education Week at MPPS!

It's been a fantastic Education Week here at MPPS, and we wanted to take a moment to share some of the highlights! This year's theme, "Spotlight on STEM," gave us a chance to celebrate the amazing ways we bring science, technology, engineering and maths to life.

On the 15th of May, we held a special Open Morning for our school community. It was wonderful to welcome families, grandparents and extended family members into our Learning Communities!

The students absolutely shone as they led their families through engaging STEM activities. We saw activities from maths challenges to building with materials – it was a true celebration of where creativity meets technology.

Following the activities, families were welcomed to enjoy a delicious morning tea in the Community Hub. The talented MPPS choir, under the direction of the ever-amazing Maddi, stole the show! Their performance was the perfect way to top off a truly special morning.

It was a joy to see our school community come together and celebrate the importance of STEM education. Here at MPPS, we're passionate about giving our students the skills they need to thrive in the 21st century, and Education Week was a fantastic reminder of why we do what we do.
