Visiting Author: Alex Miles

On Tuesday 6th August, Alex Miles joined us at MPPS for a special whole school incursion. Alex is a Melbourne-based writer who uses her magic with words to create exciting adventures.

You might know her by the alluring penname, H.I. Larry, the author behind the thrilling ‘Zac Power Spy Camp’ series. ️‍Maybe you've met the mischievous Olive Black, the mega movie star from the series, Starring Olive Black?! Or perhaps you’ve met the girl-gang in her most recent Girl Geeks hit series that encourages young women to think about technology, gaming and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics)?!

Alex's visit was a fun, interactive and inspiring way to get excited about some engaging events happening during term 3, including the MPPS Writers’ Festival, Book Week and Literacy and Numeracy Week.
