All Learning Communities have been crazy busy learning about Stop Motion and creating their own movies. They have combined their knowledge of photography and sound effects to create some fantastic short movies. Have a look at what each Learning Community has created! Yan Yean Learning CommunityThe first time YYLC trialed Stop Motion, we created our own 'Rock, Paper, Scissors' movies. Then we got creative and made our own movies using a variety of objects and materials.
Simon and Carome Learning CommunityWell, well, well... SLC and CLC had a lot of fun recreating a Stop Motion about candy. The movie is about an M&M that becomes separated from his friends. He goes looking for them but only to see other groups of candy. He feels very alone... UNTIL! He spots a big packet of M&M's! He runs towards them... BUT someone grabs him and eats him *CRUNCH*
Plenty Learning CommunityPLC created Stop Motion movies about 'The Three Little Pigs' story. BUT with a small twist... we changed our characters! Wow! What an experience Remote Learning was! Each day we all learned something new... something about our school work, technology or ourselves. Thank YouThank you to every single student who tried their best and completed their Performing Arts work during Remote Learning. Thank you to every single family member who assisted and supported their learner with the work and activities set daily. PLC - Three Little Pigs Comic BooksDuring Remote Learning, Plenty Learning Community learned about storytelling with only pictures - no words! We read the Owly, Peanuts and Calvin & Hobbes comic strips while creating our own Three Little Pigs Comic. SLC - Sock Puppets and Camera AnglesIn Term 1, Simon Learning Community learned about Camera Angles. To revise Camera Angles during Remote Learning, we made sock puppets then did a photoshoot with them. CLC - 'How To' Tutorial VideosCarome Learning Community had the exciting task of planning, filming and editing their own 'How To' Tutorial Video during Remote Learning.
YYLC - Comic BooksLastly, Yan Yean Learning Community planned, created and published their very own Comics during Remote Learning.
We learned about narration panels, speech, thought and exclamation bubbles. As well as different genres of comic books. |
