Shapes and Colours
PLC students identified and described the shapes in their lives and explored how to represent this creatively. In small-groups, students experimented and built a familiar image using magnetic shape tiles, then captured the finished product using iPad’s camera app. Students also recorded their voice on the iMovie app to identify the image they made out of the shapes. 
Our Prep students have also been exploring colour creatively through a fun stop motion animation project. They brought two primary colours to life, making them move and dance, before combining them to create a new secondary colour. Students learned how stop motion works by taking lots of photos, moving their objects a tiny bit each time. When the photos are played in sequence, it looks like the colours are moving on their own.
