We had 58 students represent MPPS at the Bridge Inn North District Cross Country event, which was held the Kilmore Racing Club on Tuesday the 14th of May It was a fantastic day of filled with running, laughter, ice cream and MPPS spirit! Thank you to all the families who came to support our superstar athletes. Congratulations to ALL for completing the 2km or 3km run. A special shout out to the following students who placed in the top 12 and will proceed to the Division Cross Country on Wednesday the 5th of June.
On Thursday the 9th of May our Grade 3/4 students from Carome Learning Community were very fortunate to participate in a free AFL incursion. The AFL ran the incursion to promote their new program called ‘Superkick’. The NAB AFL Superkick is for anyone aged 8-12 wanting to get a feel for footy, without the pressure. It’s a great next step after Auskick or a good way to start fresh in footy, as you’ll learn new skills through skill-based activities in weekly sessions, then show them off in games straight after. All CLC students were incredibly lucky to receive a 10% discount code to sign up for Superkick! Take a look at some information and action pictures below.   |
