Regional Champions! Boys Hockey Team Bound for State Finals

6/8/2025

What an incredible achievement by our boys hockey team, who have officially been crowned Regional Champions after a brilliant 3–1 win over Apollo Parkways Primary School!

With grit, teamwork, and unstoppable determination, our team of 10 talented Year 6 boys played with heart and skill to secure victory — and now they’re off to the State Finals, representing the Northern Metropolitan Region!

The big day will take place on Thursday 11th September at the Footscray Hockey Club, where our boys will take on the best teams from across Victoria. We are so immensely proud of their success and can’t wait to see what they’ll achieve next.

A huge thank you to our YYLC teacher Carolyn, who supported and accompanied the team on the day.
Congratulations to our outstanding players:

Jensen, Jake, Cooper, Caelan, Keiran, Kai, Omar, Kushal, Blake S, and Alek.

You’ve made your school and community incredibly proud — now go show the state what you’re made of!

Term 3 ISS – Round 1 Recap
