MPPS vs. APPS
Mixed Soccer
On the 2nd of June, 2023, we played against Ashley Park PS in ISS soccer. MPPS boys in soccer were excellent in both defence, and attack. One of our team members scored 6 goals in that hour. And as for Ashley Park, what amazing defence they had! Their goalie was excellent, and blocked most of our goals! We couldn’t have seen any better defence than that. Over all, MPPS won 8-0 against Ashley Park. That match may seem like a bad match for Ashley Park, but it was some very tough competition. Nobody disrespected the other team, and vice versa. We may even say that this was one of the best matches for MPPS and Ashley Park. I couldn’t be much happier with all of Ashley Park. Thank you for playing with us.

Girls Soccer
Friday 2nd of June, the M.P.P.S girls soccer had a match against Ashley Park. Mernda Park’s kick off. " Great kick Helma!’ We all sprinted to the goal, took a shot  and missed. Ashley Park got the ball and dribbled back down the other end of the pitch avoiding each player on the way . They kicked and scored and that was when the half ended.  It was Ashley Park's kick off, they ran to the goal, our amazing defenders got the ball off them and booted it across the field. It was our chance to score. Off Elena went, chasing the ball, she caught up then passed it to Hazel. They dribbled past and BAM! ELENA SCORED! ‘Great job’ The game finished and the final result was a draw. We all congratulated each other and celebrated. What a great game.

Girls Netball
The day started with a bang! Friday the 2nd of June everybody was filled with energy, positive smiles lit up the whole room with joy. BOOM! Ashley Park gets the first goal of the game, as everyone cheers from the sidelines each time a team gets a goal.  The game ended as the scores came out - MPPS 8 and Ashley Park 11 but at the end of the day everybody did an outstanding job and learned more along the way. Thanks Ashley Park!

Mixed Netball
On Friday the 2nd of June, MPPS mixed netball played against Ashley Park and had a fantastic time. Though we did not win, everyone was having fun and trying their best. Everyone was very supportive and we are grateful for having Ashley Park come to play against us. Thank you Ashley Park!

BOOM! Today started off great.  MPPS got the first goal for a fantastic start.  Ashley Park was a really good team and not long after they got a goal.  They were really fast. The back line tried to stop them, but unfortunately they still got past us. We did not give up. It was a close game for a bit, but sadly we lost. We were proud of working as a team and having a great time on the field. The scores were 62/27.  Great job Ashley Park.
