MIXED BASKETBALL
Today we played at Mernda Primary school in Mixed Basketball.  The team played welI and  we got very excited when we scored points.  Unfortunately, we lost but we really enjoyed playing against Mernda Primary.  We tried our best and the mixed team played really well. It was a lot of fun!

BOYS BASKETBALL
Today we played Mernda Primary in basketball. We all had fun and did our best. The boys did a great job to fight hard and unfortunately they were too strong, it was 6 to 37. We never gave up hope. We shared the ball around and our passes were great. But sadly you can’t win them all.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
First and foremost, today our fellow students had an incredible game with Mernda Primary School. It was an amazing experience playing with other students. Everyone did a great job at showing their CARE values. We all gave each other high fives, as well as cheering on each other with a big smile on our faces. Whenever anyone got a shot, we would give each other high fives as well as saying “Great job”. Mernda Primary School and Mernda Park students would always pass the ball to different students each time. But Mernda Park Primary school got the win by 24 points. To me, it doesn't matter if you win or lose but it matters if you use your kind words and actions and do your best.

MIXED CRICKET
Today at cricket we played Donnybrook PS. When we got there we were all set up and ready. We started to warm up so we were ready for the game. It was a bit chilly, but we didn't let that affect us. Everyone got their playing partners. We were all ready to play Dilsher and the other captain played rock, paper, scissors. They ended up winning and chose to bowl. Logan was first on strike and they played really well. After they came off Karl and I went to bat. Sadly we got run out but we batted great. After that it was Hunter and Saiesh that did great with batting. Now it was our turn to field. We got three wickets and our fielding was absolutely amazing. The highlights were Dilsher and Liam getting a 12, 8, 5, 8 and  Liam diving to save the ball was fantastic. Saiesh’s wicket keeping was awesome as he was catching everything!

GIRLS CRICKET
Our game was really good today at Girls Cricket! We won against Donnybrook PS and the scores were 105 and 63. Even though the other team lost, our game was awesome! The highlight of our game was when Trinity caught the ball on the full twice! We got one wicket and some runs. The atmosphere felt very peaceful, but later during the game it got more intense. At the end everyone was a winner and it was a fair game whether we won or lost. Great game girls!

MIXED TEE BALL
As we entered Mernda Primary School, so many smiling faces greeted us. We felt welcomed and passionate that this would be a great game. The atmosphere of the game was thrilling and exciting, encouragement was spread across the field as everyone hit home and batted. The scores were 8-19, but at that point it did not matter, because everyone had such a great game and left MPS feeling cheerful. Congratulations to both teams.
