MIXED CRICKET
This week we had a home game against Hume Anglican College at Waterview Recreation Reserve. We won the toss and chose to bowl.  We trapped them with many dot balls, 2 amazing catches and 1 beautiful run out. Then it was our turn to bat. Karl and Hunter W had a wonderful partnership and most of our partnerships were really strong. Unfortunately, we lost by 13 runs, 67 to 80 going Hume’s way. Our team had a fantastic experience and a marvellous match!

GIRLS CRICKET
When we stepped out onto the field, we were excited for the upcoming match.  The other team chose to field first with us batting. It was an amazing game, with MPPS getting several wickets and Helma catching an amazing ball, stopping the other team from getting any extra runs. The opposition were really fun to play against and really challenged us to play to the best of our abilities. It was a fantastic game that ended with us just managing to win, we shook hands with the other team then headed out cheering along the way.
Go Girls!

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Hume Anglican Grammar was a brilliant team to play. It was so fun to play a team that worked together really well. Both teams played amazingly and gave it their best shot. The game was lighthearted and cheerful. Both teams brought with them a positive attitude toward the game. Mernda Park brought home the win with 42 points over Hume 2. Congratulations Hume Anglican Grammar, you were a magnificent team to play.
Helena

BOYS BASKETBALL
Today we played against Hume Anglican Grammar. We passed and played brilliantly. Hume had really good possession of the ball and passed really well. The scores were 20-10 with MPPS getting the win. We had lots of fun playing basketball and again everyone played amazing. Thank you Hume for coming and showing great sportsmanship and all the best in the future!
Noah

MIXED BASKETBALL
Today we played against Hume. We passed well across the court and Hume put up an outstanding game against us and scored a whopping 26-2. Hume won. But the thing is that we all tried our best and had fun. Hume was amazing and everyone was great. At the end we were all tired because we tried our hardest on the court.

MIXED TEEBALL
As the mixed tee ball team stepped onto the field ready to smash some great hits, the opposition walked onto the school grounds. The captains of each team came together to perform the bat drop. We were the first team to bat and Jason was the first batter to come up to the tee and… BASHH! One home run, what a hit.The other team was fun to play against
We scored 41 and Hume scored 19,what a good game we all  played.

GIRLS TEEBALL
This Friday, we faced Hume Grammar. They were amazing sports and great to play with! I'm sure we all had a lot of fun! The score was 13-18! We won, but I think we all had a super time. Ruby M caught 2 balls and got 2 people out! Amazing Job Ruby! Everyone did amazing and when someone got hurt or got out, everyone cheered and said “Good job!” Even the other team! Hope to see you again Hume Grammar!
Ella
