ROUND 1 INTERSCHOOL SPORT BLOG - TEEBALL, T20 CRICKET & BASKETBALL

20/2/2023

Boys Basketball
The game today was like an NBA game. It was so fun to play against Ashley Park because we got to meet new people and see a different school. The game was so fun I lost track of the score.Today I scored 2 baskets. We were passing and playing very well and we got a proud result. Ashley Park played amazingly and they made our game challenging and fun. All teams played hard. Thank You Ashley Park for welcoming us to your school. All the best in the future!

Teeball
When we  arrived at Ashley Park everyone was so excited to play our first round of interschool sport for 2023…
When we got to the oval we set up the bases and got ready for fielding. The other school decided to bat first and they were amazing to play against!
We were all communicating well with everyone. Even though we were so exhausted, that might have been our best game yet.

Girls Cricket
Friday, the girls team did an excellent job in cricket, while playing with Ashley Park.  Everyone did very well and it was enjoyable. We did our best to win…and we did! Ashley Park scored 64 in total, while Mernda Park scored an impressive 107 runs. GREAT JOB TEAM!! We did our best as a team and came away with a win!

Mixed Cricket
On the 17th of February, the mixed team did a brilliant job in cricket, when playing with Ashley Park.  We tried our best to win, but unfortunately, we lost. Ashley Park scored a huge 142 in total, while Mernda Park scored a solid 111 runs in total.  It didn’t matter about winning. It was about trying our absolute best. The thing that got me hyped up was to see Hunter Chen hit a 6! Or when Archer unexpectedly hit a wicket! Everybody used their C.A.R.E values and there is nothing that I would change about Round 1.
