Term 2 updates

Our SLC students have been very busy bees so far in Term 2! During Literacy, we have been developing our understanding of phonics as we work through the different Little Learners Love Literacy stages. In Maths, we have continued to develop our fluency and understanding of number and place value. We have also enjoyed learning about 2d shapes and symmetry. For Writing, we have been learning about persuasive texts and how to use high modality words to strengthen our argument. During our weekly Oral Language sessions, students have enjoyed practising their speaking and listening skills through a variety of engaging, hands-on play scenarios. We are having a wonderful time in Grade 1/2!
