We have had a fantastic start to the year with our Grade 1 & 2 students in Simon Learning Community!

Students have settled well into school routines, made new friendships and participated in a range of classroom activities. We also enjoyed welcoming our families into SLC during our Meet the Teacher evening. Teachers have also developed their understanding of the Little Learners Love Literacy (LLLL) program, as well as participating in an engaging and hands-on professional development session on Maths. We are looking forward to a wonderful rest of Term 1!

This sounds like a very positive and engaging start to the year for the SLC students. It’s great to see both students and teachers actively building routines, relationships, and skills together. The focus on literacy and hands-on maths is encouraging. How will the school continue supporting student progress throughout the rest of Term 1?
