Term 4 2024

This term is all about the art element, Form. We are exploring 3D artworks in all Learning ​Communities with lots of different materials.
PLC have done some weaving with ribbons and are currently making a paper toy inspired by the Japanese artist, Misaki Kawai.
SLC used pipe cleaners and yarn to create these beautiful yarn bombed love hearts in the photos below, which we turned into wall hangings.
CLC explored movement in Form with wonderful foil sculptures. The challenge was to imply movement in a stationary artwork. I'm sure you would agree they succeeded!
YYLC experimented with hand sewing to create donut pillows which all turned out fabulous.
