This term is flying by and we have been very busy in Visual Arts. The students have been trying lots of new skills and exploring different artforms from around the world. PLC - We had great fun with our weaving on wire frames. The results were so colourful. You can see some of them on display in the school office. We also made Worry Dolls (from Guatemala) which the students all took home. SLC- We started with paper weaving and it was such a success that we moved onto warping a loom and weaving with wool and ribbon. CLC - Making God's Eyes was very popular. So many students challenged themselves. We also learnt a Running Stitch to create great embroidery designs. YYLC- We used a Running Stitch and a Back Stitch to crate great embroidery designs and even sewed on buttons to embellish our work.
