Imagine A World With An Endless Maze
Spiralling Down…Darkness invades my mind. Shadows awaken and I hear eerie sounds surrounding me. I walk slowly, thinking of how I ended up here… Hearing thumping footsteps I quickly hide. The atmosphere is dull and gloomy. I see a door, I look above and the sign on the door reads “this way.” I decide to be brave, I walk in and see… Blood everywhere, I’m terrified…I hear screams getting louder and louder. My sanity stops at 1% and my heartbeat gradually drops too, feeling like I'm a ghost living in hell… He turns around and I see white glowing eyes and glowing white teeth with a huge smile. I learnt about this before, it’s a creature called the “Smiler.” I dropped my flashlight and ran in fear… Running… I'm paralyzed in terror! The Smiler is chasing me and my insanity is at 100%, my body stops and I froze in fright, I feel his breath and fingers crawling all over me like a sharp, slithering, slimy snake all over me. I faint… as I’m fainting I hear footsteps everywhere, I pass out. As I awaken, I feel alive again. Will I ever be free? Can I get out of this place? How can I escape? Footsteps begin to slowly approach me… I drop deeper and deeper into a lost world and my insanity continues to rise… “Ahhhhh, ouch!” I see red flickering lights and a red hallway. I start visualising a way out of here. The Smiler is right behind me…I start sprinting, I twist and turn with lots of doors surrounding this endless hallway… Two days after running, I stopped in horror seeing that there was nowhere to go. It suddenly gets colder and colder… I see a glowing exit sign not too far away. The space gets tighter and tighter, I feel threatened in panic, I get anxious. The door to my exit gets brighter and brighter, as I take one more step I say “bye hell” I step in… brightness flashes my eyes, I appear at the first maze from several years ago… I ask myself “do I have to restart in this living hell?” I approach the door I came out of. I take my step with a sigh and say “I hope I can finally go home now.” Then I take the step and walk in, to my amazement… I end up back HOME! I lay down on the grass and I smell the fresh air around me, I see flowers bloom again, I see the sky as bright as heaven. I hope I never end up back in that deep, dark, desolate place. Have you ever thought about a world without family, friends and humans… except for you? NOT ME! I have family, friends, everything I could want! I’m over the moon with joy, l love my life, until… Without warning a rocket crashes into a radioactive asteroid! Acid green liquid splashes over everyone but Lowie and I. Lowie’s my dog. He’s an Australian Shepherd Cross Bernese Mountain dog. It’s only me and Lowie now, in this large, gloomy, empty world… As night falls, Lowie and I decide to go for a walk to the park to see what's going on. It’s a five minute walk to the park from our house. Once we arrive I felt gloomy yet safe because no one else was around. I let Lowie off his leash, he wanders off but he comes straight back to me. When we get home I get into bed with Lowie right at my feet. I fall asleep hoping everything will be back to normal tomorrow… Tired and exhausted, I wake up and slowly walked downstairs. I was gobsmacked to see my family standing in the kitchen like nothing happened. I stood at the bottom of the stairs, shocked. I felt Lowie at my feet, he tips his head, I guess he’s confused too. “Hi honey” says mum. “Hi?” I replied, still confused, “What is going on?” I thought to myself… I sat down for breakfast like everything was normal. Phew, it was a dream… a few years pass, I wake up on a sunny morning. I walked downstairs, Lowie’s alongside me. But no one else is there! I ran outside with Lowie racing behind me. OH NO! I’ll always remember the first time I saw the gateway to another dimension. The second it caught my eye I thought my eyes were tricking me. BOOM! A humongous, gigantic, strong alien flew out of the portal. Everyone says his name is King Dab. He stared at me with his scary, monstrous eyes... Then, out of nowhere, another monster came out of the portal! His name is Dabzilla he’s huge but not as big as King Dab. His sharp, pointy and huge spine is as sharp as a hole full of knives. I felt so excited when Dabzilla came out of the portal because he's the saviour of the world! But I forgot I'm in a creepy forest and there is a storm. The trees started to move around, they looked like they were trying to grab me. My happiness slowly started to turn into fear. Was I really saved? Imagine a world… different from Earth. Once thought of as only a dream, it came alive. Everything is on a very round planet. The cafés, restaurants, parks and anything you could imagine is on a small round planet. The only way to go to different places is through a portal that leads you to wherever you wish to go. How did I find out about all of this? Well, that's a long story… The day that mysterious portal spontaneously appeared in my backyard. That was the day my curious family and I went inside the mysterious portal. What was inside the portal blew me away… I was 110% gob-smacked by what was there! Everything was on a round, small, and strange planet. I was as scared as a chicken, running around the small planet we teleported to when we entered the mysterious portal. I stumbled across a small neighbourhood when a family suddenly came out of the house that was on the island. My family and I introduced ourselves and had a brief chat. But time was ticking, so we had to make our return to Earth. But what happened next surprised us all… To our surprise, we couldn’t go back. Why? Well, we came through a portal to come to this mysterious island, but we didn’t know what we had to do to come back to EARTH. It wasn’t as easy as walking back through the portal. WE…WERE…DOOMED! But all hope wasn’t lost. We asked the new family we’d met if we could jump off the island, but they said if we jumped off, we would strangely disappear from this world. I thought to myself, “What if we disappear to Earth?” Well, there was only one way to find out. So I exclaimed as hard as I could “JUMP!”. But, did it work…? WE DID IT! WE MADE IT BACK HOME! WOW, what an adventure, I will never forget what we have achieved in this adventure. When we came home, I felt bitter sweet. The strange, mythical, and mysterious world was long gone, but I already liked my home, Earth. This day is rapidly becoming my favourite day. After all we’ve been through, I am just grateful that we survived through all of it. Because it could have been worse. I’m not letting anyone in this world know what happened, because even if I got a million dollars, I would become famous on the internet once people heard my story, which I hate. But I can tell my family, friends and relatives of my crazy adventure. If my friends ask why I haven't told the world, it’s because this adventure was for myself. Imagine a world, where hybrid species and intense technology are everywhere you look. The weapons were dropped on that specific day, the day where the corrupted A.I. and unique hybrid species went face to face in a life threatening war. Peace hasn't been made in 30 years… But that day will come, soon they will pay the price… Without warning, that day has abruptly arrived. But not the way I expected… The world was reborn, technology like A.I. vanished and the hybrid animals and intelligent humans were back to creating new, insane strategies without the use of technology. After many years of trial and error, finally all the robots were blown up and destroyed. This world was awestruck by the sudden, amazing and shocking changes. The hybrid species didn’t have to fight in a gruelling war anymore! Everyone created advanced buildings and peace with other civilisations, each team had a specific task to do. We now have at least one colossal building with 15 stories! Suddenly, everyone and everything has now changed. Everyone was educated on how to stop a dangerous war. Technology has been eradicated from this world. The dreams of having a new world came to life. People have aimed to recreate what they had before, with the conclusion of war, they had so much more time to do so. This place feels complete…but at what cost? It was a normal, peaceful night and then mum yelled “June, get to bed!” “Alright mum” said June. The next morning June heard a big thud that woke her up, “MUM, WHAT WAS THAT!?” June screamed, she was terrified, then her mum came rushing into June's room “JUNE, ARE YOU OK!?” “I think?” June replied, they both went running outside and to their surprise… EVERYTHING WAS UPSIDE DOWN!! “WHAT IN THE WORLD!?” Mum said in shock, they both went back inside to try and figure out how and why the world is upside down. They tried searching why the world was upside down but they found nothing, then they decided to call some scientists and they said “a ginormous asteroid hit the earth and spun it out of its orbit.” They wonder if the world will return to normal… It’s been a few months since the world flipped upside down, and they have tried calling every single scientist in the world. The scientist took as many ideas from the town as they could, the total of ideas from the town totalled over one thousand. As June and her mum think about their idea… BOOM! An idea just pops out to them, “we should tell the scientist to send a rocket to space to flip the world back around!” Said June. “That’s a great idea!” exclaimed Mum. Then they called the scientist to tell them their plan, then the scientist said “WE LOVE IT!” The scientist got the rocket into space, then all of a sudden… “AHHH!” screamed June and mum and to their surprise EVERYTHING WAS BACK TO NORMAL! I hope this doesn’t happen again… Storyteller: Delilah K Imagine a World where everything is alive …
To my surprise, I stare at a KFC building running up and down, throwing fried delicious chicken. A million questions swirl through my head! How is this possible? As my comfy bed flicks me off, I gaze in amazement. These are some of the most dazzling, creepy and flabbergasting things I have ever seen! Without warning, I rush outside to see everything moving. Running at the speed of light, I explore every corner of the town. My eyes bawled out, when the trees grew legs. Zoom! The aeroplane grows hands and the cars don’t drive on wheels, they walk on legs. Suddenly a trail of smoke came from a suspicious factory… I prepared for the long journey, I hopped into my navy blue car and followed the grey colossal smoke. After many hours I saw the huge purple factory that looked exactly like Willy Wonka’s factory. With all my strength I pound on the dark brown door. “Who’s that!” the muffled voice shouted. “It's me, Bob!” I exclaimed. The door opened as slow as a sleepy sloth… Not thinking twice, I entered into the deep, dark and mysterious room. An orange lazerbeam flashes as I take a quick peak. Boom! A tall man with crazy green hair appeared out of nowhere and a gigantic scarlet telescope was throwing lazerbeams in the air. “Come out already!” the mad man cackled. Creeping slowly into the white lab, the tantalising man explained what he was doing. Apparently, he was the one doing this witchcraft. So many questions run through my head. How did he do this? When did he do this? And Why did he do this? I drop deeper and deeper into a lost world, the evil scientist ordered his black leather chairs to trap me in a huge empty cage. How could chairs walk? Then I suddenly remembered that everything is alive. By the time that I realised this I was inside a cage with steel bars… What an insane, terrible and awful world. Storyteller: Jonathan A Imagine A World Where A Strange House Is Upside Down…
It was a normal night, 9:00 pm at night, stars were shimmering and the moon was beautiful. “Bedtime Summer'' Mum said, “OK Mum” I replied, excited for what tomorrow morning was going to bring. Next morning, while having weetabix for breakfast I hear a knock at the door, knock knock knock… It’s Ruby and Amelia! I say “hi” and they scream “HI!” back to me. We had so much fun throughout the day that it got dark so easily! So we decided to have an early night and went to bed early… but the next morning… “AHH!” mum yelled. I rush out of bed trying to find my mum, I frantically ask her “what is happening mum?”, she stutters “the h-h-house is upside down!” We go outside and fall to the ground… To see if it was just us. And it was just us, the neighbours looked at us like we were psychopaths, weird and like we were homeless because we were in our pyjamas and our hair was a mess. We are in the freezing cold and we couldn’t get back inside because the door was at the top of the house. The next door neighbours asked if we wanted to go inside their house. Ruby, Amelia, mum and I all said “Yes please! Can we also have a nice hot chocolate too?” The neighbour replies “Yes you girls can! I think you need one.” We all said gratefully “Thank you for having us!” The neighbours in a nice tone said “no problem! You are welcome.” We go outside and oh…my…god… the house is not upside down anymore. We return inside the house and it’s back to its original state. We are so happy we can finally go back to our normal life and finally we won't be embarrassed anymore. The upside down house… Storyteller: Holly B Imagine A World Without Colours
This world is my home, where the colours bloom, the orange sun shines and where the rainbow comes after the rain. When it gets dark I go into my room that has green plants, pretty art, and cosy pillows. When it's nine o’clock I put mindfulness music on, then I slowly close my eyes… Tired and Exhausted, I woke up from an amazing dream! I open my window to feel the fresh cool morning breeze floating around my face. Not far from my home is a lovely park, where I see a small kid holding a dangerous chemical… To my surprise, a grey and black hole started appearing underneath a tree. Suddenly… The green and brown colours swirled inside of the hole, one by one… The colours fall deeper and deeper into the dark world, the hole is viciously pulling the colours one by one. Light winds rush in my face then from out of the blue, I have an idea! I quickly run, grabbing the phone to call the police. But then… I grab a vacuum from the upstairs cupboard, I trott down the stairs, then continued to run straight out of the door…I spotted a small boy, he spots me too! He drops the bottle full of chemicals and then runs into the far distance. I keep running with all my hope, as fast as a bobcat leaping into the air, to find the mysterious black hole... Running to the darkness, I stand next to the dark hole, forcefully sticking the vacuum in the dark swirling whirlpool. All the colours crazily went into the vacuum. In the meantime, down the hill are the police. They are making sure to supervise all the colours going back into their correct places. The policemen were cheering in surprise, “Woo! Hoo!” The police thanked me for saving the day. The officers find the little boy that was going to destroy the world's colours. A few minutes later, I walked down and went into Coles like everything was normal. When I grabbed my groceries I walk up to the register #3. The cashier said “There’s the girl who saved the colours!” Wow, I didn't know I was now famous… The vibrant colours shine again! Storyteller: Isabella B Imagine A World Where Everything Is Candy…
Have you ever thought about a world full of beautiful, gigantic and dazzling chocolate bars? Imagine how sweet all of the different types of candy that you could eat would be? Believe it or not they taste delicious! I wish I lived in a world like this… This is my world… I felt like I was having a sugar rush because I was thinking of so much sticky, sweet, sour candy. I made a wish where one day, the world turns into candy. Then I closed my eyes and went to sleep… To my surprise, in the morning I had breakfast but it was candy! Once I finished my breakfast I went to play on my iPad but it is now also candy! I am so confused, I want to get out! I get into my car, while I am on the road my car starts randomly jumping because my wheels have also turned into jelly! My dream has come true! It has been my dream to have a world of candy because I can't have candy at home. This world feels perfect… Luckily, I was able to spend the day with all of my sweet, mouthwatering, delicious candies but the day has come and gone and so have my cravings. The day is quickly passing, but I have had enough candy for a lifetime! I think I need a rest from lollies… Candy was my dream… Storyteller: Olivia C |
