Imagine A World Where Cartoons Are Alive

My friends ditched me and I was forever lonely. I walk home by myself. I eat lunch by myself. I go in my room by myself, having no fun playing games . I'm basically a lone wolf with no pack.

I forever daydream about the friends I wish I had... “I wish I could have friends that are funny, kind and trustworthy,” I say to myself.  I draw my dream friends in my sketch pad. First I draw Beidou. She’s a pirate who is brave and kind. Next there’s Zac, he loves mushrooms and he’s an elf. Lastly there’s Sucrose. She's very clumsy, and gets lots of bandaids…

Even after a good night's sleep, I wake up tired and as I rub my eyes and blink… “AAHH! W-WHAT ARE YOU DOING?? H-HOW ARE YOU ALIVE?” I yelled with shock. Beidou, Zac and Sucrose stare back at me then say “Hiii!”. “Am I dreaming?” I ask, “Nope,” replied Beidou. I rub my eyes again and think, “do I have my dream friends now?” Sucrose grabs my hand and says “we are here to help you make friends - we want you to be happy”.

We begin our journey to school, running through the streets until we get to the big wooden doors. Beidou, Zac and Sucrose introduce themselves to students at my school. They ask them questions to see if they would be good friends who like the same things as me. “Do you like drawing?” Zac asked one girl. “Do you like watching Anime?” Beidou asked a boy in my art class. “Do you like eating Sushi?” Sucrose asked a boy sitting behind me at lunch.

By the end of the day I had a new best friend. His name was Aaron and he LOVED watching Anime. Almost more than me. The only downside was… he is not very good at drawing. But we made a deal, I would teach him how to draw as good as me, if he would share all the amazing Anime he watches. The next morning I woke to find Beidou, Zac and Sucrose back on my sketch pad… I guess their job was done.

It starts with a question…
