F Imagine A World Of Darkness

How wonderful is light? It is bright, miseryless and beautiful. If we're ever going to bump into each other there is always light to help us on our way, and it allows people to move in the night. It protects us from harm, so we should work hard to protect it from harm. We use it in schools, cafes and power lines on the rail. But what if something happened to the light?  What if there was no light…

Bored and daydreaming, Hope and Zackary spend their last few days of school holidays playing board games and eating pizza. As dusk approaches the sky turns as orange as the sun, illuminating Hope’s face, turning her blonde hair orange. All of a sudden the LED lights go out… “What just happened?” asked Hope, “I don't know” replies Zackary. They run outside to see all the street lights flashing…

One by one the towering lights that illuminate the street suddenly start going black, until the street is completely dark. They run back inside to get torches to light their way and allow them to see, but once back outside the torches go out… Suddenly they are surrounded by darkness once again. “What is going on?” Hope asked, “I don't know,” replies Zackary. “I know where we should go!'' says Zack. “Where?” asked Hope, “The Energy Company!” Zackary says with a smile.

Side by side, Zackary and Hope begin their journey to The Energy Company. As they walk they meet other people who have the same idea. Zackary learns that there is a worldwide black out - all the lights and power are gone - cars are not starting, the internet is down and even batteries are not working! The entire world has shut down and is spiralling into chaos… “I have a bad feeling about this”, said Hope, “why huh? Are you scared?” asked Zackary. “I’m not, I just feel like this is dangerous, '' Hope replied.

They begin to run because they're so close… “Finally we're here!!!!” said Zackary with excitement. “Yes, finally we're going to get the light back!” said Hope. After a lot of walking and searching around the Energy Company, Zackary and Hope found something odd… a GIANT power plug is out of its socket and laying on the ground. “Obviously someone touched the big power plug, '' Zackary said.  Together Hope and Zackary put the plug back into the power source and the whole world got its electricity back. Everyone was happy, joyful and excited! “We did it!!!!!” yelled Hope And Zackary.

Be grateful for the light
