​As part of our Start- Up Program students completed a Descriptive poem which focused on their identity. Students first completed an All About Me shoe- which they used to showcase all the things that are important to them. They then chose a base word for their Acrostic poem and created a descriptive poem to match incorporating writing strategies and rhyme. Students published their poem and displayed it on coloured paper with their All About Me Shoe which are now displayed in the Yan Yean Central Pod- we are so proud of their work! ​
