​In the Yan Yean Learning Community, science has truly come to life as students engage in a variety of exciting experiments. We've been diving deep into the fascinating worlds of absorption, surface tension, and circuits, uncovering the wonders of how everyday materials interact. Our exploration of volcanoes brought fiery eruptions to the classroom, while our investigations into water revealed its incredible properties, from surface tension to the density of ice. The fun didn't stop there—students got hands-on with Oobleck, marveling at its unique ability to act like both a liquid and a solid. We even delved into the mysteries of invisible ink, using lemon juice to create secret messages that magically appear with heat. These experiments have sparked curiosity, creativity, and a deeper understanding of the science that surrounds us every day.
