Picture
We have been learning about and using the language of length, such as ‘longer’, ‘shorter’, ‘smaller’ and ‘taller’ to compare and describe objects. Students drew pictures of dinosaurs and used unifix blocks to measure the height of their dinosaur.

Reading - Mrs Wishy Washy

16/7/2020

Students read many books from the ‘Mrs Wishy Washy’ series and had fun learning about the different farm animals. The students created a display and decorated an animal of their choice from the book ‘Mrs Wishy Washy’s Farm’ using various materials.

Writing – Leaf Pal

During writing we have been focusing on our five senses to help us explore and describe things in nature. We created a ‘leaf pal’ using leaves we collected during a nature hunt. We enjoy using powerful adjectives in our sentences to make our writing more interesting.

PMP is a program where small groups of children rotate through a number of ‘stations’ taking part in activities designed to develop balance, co-ordination, space, body awareness and fitness. We really enjoy our PMP time in the stadium.
