“My advice for remote learning is to keep being persistent. I know it's been hard working at home and sometimes internet issues cause problems. We have all missed going to school: our friends, teachers, sports, amazing activities, even the crazy and fun games we played with Susie.
But on the positive side some students have discovered that they enjoy getting to work at their own pace, and set their own schedule. So the important thing is… Have FUN!! and stay safe.” Ridham School Captain |
Remote learning can be tough at times but this is how I cope with my work, I first find a quiet place to work so there won’t be any distractions, then I usually listen to some calming music while I do my work in case I ever get stressed. I hope these little tips help you cope with your remote learning.

“What I do to stay motivated is to tell myself at the start of the day "Ok Grace this is how much work you have, finish it and you can then relax". The second way I stay motivated is to be calm and mindful, I also tell myself, "Here’s a challenge for you, get all this work done before 12:00" and guess what? I do and so can you.”

“Nobody likes staying home all the time and I am sure we all want to go back to school and have fun, but unfortunately, we must stay home and that's the safe thing to do. I always start off a day with a positive attitude and always wake up before 10. I eat a hearty breakfast and do my schoolwork straight away. As soon as I finish all my schoolwork, I have the rest of the day enjoying what I want to do.”
