remote learning pe challenge WEEK 8 | NATIONAL HEALTH & PE DAY

30/8/2021

Since 2012, the National Health & Physical Education (NHPE) Day has been an annual day on the calendar to raise awareness of and advocate for the value of HPE in Australian schools.  The day aims to highlight the importance of HPE and the impact on the learning potential and well being of all children, the benefit to all schools, and the valuable contribution to the wider community.

So together it is our aim to move more this week.  Each day there will be a challenge set.  The more you move the more points you earn with a cap on how many points you can earn per day.  Students and staff are taking part altogether to earn points for the title of "THE MOST MARVELLOUS MOVERS OF MERNDA PARK!"

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!  STAY SAFE AND WELL!  KEEP SMILING AND MOVING!

green & gold day - #tokyo together

1/8/2021

On our first Friday of the term, Mernda Park Primary turned out in their Green & Gold in celebration of our athletes competing in Tokyo.  Staff and students did an exceptional job to represent in their colours and participated in some lunch time sporting activities run by our Grade 6 student leaders.  In PE lessons, students competed in some mini olympic events with medal ceremonies after each event.  A fantastic, first, fun Friday back at MPPS for Term 3 and a fabulous way to start back after remote learning.  Awesome effort Superstars!
