Simon Creek Incursion

As a part of our integrated studies unit, ‘The Blue Marble’, students in Carome Learning Community explored endangered animals, their homes and the threats they face. To support their investigations, students participated in the Darebin Creek Education Program. This was an exciting opportunity that allowed students to connect with the local landscape, explore the plants and wild life living in and around the creek and brainstorm possible solutions to assist in maintaining a healthy environment.

We thoroughly enjoyed expanding our knowledge and understanding of the world around us.
