Wednesday was Cross Country.  Last year, I came 22nd.  This year I came in 21st. I improved by one place this year.  I was mad at myself at first, because I barely improved, but I had lots of people encouraging me and rebuilding my confidence in myself. The thing that encouraged me most was what my PE Teacher said.  She asked  me "Isn't one place better than zero places better?" She also explained, "You may not have come Top 10 like you wanted, but you did come 21st out of 100 other girls." This really helped my positive side win over my negativity that I was feeling.

This day was a great day!

I encourage everyone who has insecurities or just simply doesn't believe in themselves like me sometimes to try their best and never give up.
