Boys Basketball
Today we played Whittlesea Primary School in boys basketball. Both teams played really well. After Mernda scored a couple points, Whittlesea didn't give up. They caught up and kept scoring and passing. It was a tie. Great job Whittlesea. What a game, ending in a draw. Thank you Whittlesea for coming to our school and all the best in the future.

Girls Basketball
The girls basketball team played against Whittlesea and did an amazing job! The scores were 36 Mernda Park to 0 Whittlesea. Whittlesea played an amazing game; it was a fair match and we would like to thank Whittlesea for coming to our school today. We had a ball playing today and we wish Whittlesea the best of luck for their last game. We hope to play you again in future games.

Boys Cricket
Today in ISS we played against Whittlesea in Cricket. We WON the toss and chose to ball. We got 10 wickets, Jonathan got 4 wickets, Logan W got a wicket, as well as Louie and Dilsher, who dominated when it came to fielding. Then it was our turn to bat, all our players scored many runs but when it was Dilsher’s turn, he made their whole team petrified. We performed brilliantly, with a difference of 126 runs, 200 to 74 going Mernda Park’s way.
One more round to go!

Girls Cricket
When we stepped out onto the field we were anticipating the upcoming game. Whittlesea was extremely friendly and kind to us and we had a lot of fun playing with each other. Some highlights were, us getting several wickets in a row. The other team were really good batters and challenged us to play our hardest. In the end we won with a score of 118 - 85 our way.  We can’t wait to play against Whittlesea in future games.

Mixed Tee Ball
When they arrived at Mernda Park Primary, everyone was so excited to play our sixth round of interschool sports for 2023…
When we got to the oval we set up the bases and got ready for batting. The other school chose to field first and they were amazing to play against!  We were all communicating well with everyone. Even though we were so exhausted, that might have been one of our best games yet.  Thank you Whittlesea!

Girls Teeball
As Whittlesea Primary School walked through our gate our hearts filled with joy. We were so pleased that the Whittlesea team had travelled from Whittlesea to enjoy their morning playing teeball with us. As everyone hit home runs, there was so much excitement and cheering for both teams. MPPS won with a score of 21 - 17 and everyone did an amazing job.
