term 1 so far...we dare you to be responsible!

So far this term, our learning focus has been on Personal and Communal Responsibility when learning in PE.  Students have been able to identify the traits, behaviours and qualities that link to how they can do the right thing or how they can encourage others to do the right thing.  This has been a great builder on our school CARE values and allowed students to articulate the positive ways that we should interact and behave when we are being physically active.  The BIG LESSON that students are beginning to understand is the link between having positive physical activity experiences, with well being and emotions.  Students can explain that communication is key to Collaboration and persistence is the key to Achievement.  Across the last few weeks of our CARE unit, we will be delving into Responsibility and Empathy and how this relates to our's and others well being.  Awesome start MPPS!
