MPPS vs MCC B
Girls Netball
Today was the first day of term 2 interschool Sports. This morning we played against Mernda Central College B in netball, the girls team was off to a great start, the room was filled with positivity, enthusiasm and satisfaction with the gameplay. We all had heaps of fun. The scores were Mernda Park 20 to Mernda Central 0, but in the end the opportunity was rewarding enough.  Thanks Mernda Central for coming, we had a blast.

Mixed Netball
T
he day started with tons of energy and positivity, as the players stepped onto the court. There was so much cheering from the sidelines! It was everyone's first game of term 2 ISS, which made the whole room instantly more exciting. MCC B had scored a miraculous 7 points and MPPS had scored a good 1 point. The game had ended  and everyone was lined up and congratulated each other with smiling faces.

Mixed/Girls Soccer
It was a wonderful day for our soccer teams. MPPS soccer had their first match of Term 2 Winter Sports. Our team had such good players, but so did Mernda Central College. They were an excellent team in the game, and they had very good defence. We had so many chances to score, but their defence was tough and solid. The scores were 1-0 for mixed (MPPS won), and the girls got 3-0 (MCC won). Overall, both teams did a great job in their first match together, demonstrating some promising signs to come.

Mixed AFL
MPPS played a really good game against MCC. It was MCC’s first game and they played really well as a team for their first go. The scores were 91 to 18, MPPS came out with an outstanding win! We showed our leadership skills and CARE values to help out Mernda Central with what they were unsure about and we played well together as a team, even with some of our students that had never played before!  Awesome work MPPS!
