CLC - Abstract pattern collage

The learning objective for this lesson was to explore colour and shape while learning about the artist Sonia Delaunay. Students created an oil pastel drawing inspired by Delaunay’s artwork using bright colours and repeating shapes. Students then created a paper collaged work using simple shapes and cut their drawing into pieces to layer over their collage to create a new composition and display for their work.
