PLC - Lines and shapes

This term we have been exploring lines and shapes in our art. Some of the fun activities we have done were; Shape People, Line & Pattern Activity and Shape Stamping.

Stamp Printing
"I liked stamping a picture. No dipping the stamps in the paint,we used our fingers to put the paint on the sponge. I used red, yellow, blue and green. I made a flower, a moon and stars. It was really fun!"  Myra P

"I loved using lots of colours and paint. We used paint and shapes to make a picture. My picture was Space. It was really good!" Quinn

Line & Pattern Activity
"First we drew lines and patterns with crayons. I drew a curly line and love hearts and many circles. Then we painted. I used green for the grass and all of the colours for the flowers. My art looked amazing!" Naisha

Shape Person
"First we coloured the shapes, then we cut them out and then we glued the on coloured paper a Shape Person. I liked using the glue stick. Cutting was fun!" Jack

"I liked making the shape person. First we colour the shapes, cut them out and then glue. My person looked like me." Yug
