Raspberry Pi Introduction

During Term 1, some of the CLC grade 4s will be participating in the Raspberry Pi Program. Students are learning about coding languages, including 'block coding' and Python. We will also be incorporating a sustainability focus by collecting data from temperature readings and PH levels from water testing. In today's session students learnt about computer hardware, including mice, keyboards, monitors and the Raspberry Pi itself. We focused on safe practices when using this technology. Students showed a keen interest in using the hardware and demonstrated a sound understanding of safety.
