THREE new schools in the City of Whittlesea have been officially named.
The Public Private Partnership Project schools in Epping and Mernda were named following consultation with the community. The Epping North primary school has been named Harvest Home Primary School and Mernda South school, Mernda Park Primary School. Mernda’s exciting new primary school will be called Mernda Park Primary School, inspired by its location within the leafy green suburb surrounded by many attractive parks. Yan Yean MP, Danielle Green said the name was chosen following the appointment of its inaugural principal, Mary Ryan, and consultation with the local community. Mernda Park Primary School is one of 15 new schools being delivered through the Victorian Government’s $291 million Public Private Partnership (PPP) Project. PRINCIPALS have been appointed to the three schools being built in Mernda and Epping under the Public Private Partnership Project.
Mandy O’Mara will lead Mernda Central P-12, Mary Ryan will head up Mernda South Primary School and Anthony Simone has been appointed to Epping North Primary School. |
