Term 1 so far...

This term we have all hit the ground running. It has been fantastic to have such a busy art room with so much amazing art being made.
PLC - The new Preps have been amazing. They have been learning about primary and secondary colours and we have already had fun using paint to mix colours.
SLC - The SLC students showed their amazing collaboration skills by creating a vibrant City Collage. I was so proud of how beautifully they worked together.
CLC - We explored Roman Mosaics, by creating our own paper mosaic pieces. We did this by first painting our pages to be cut up for tiles and then creating our pieces.
YYLC - Using the work of Jen Stark for inspiration, students worked independently or in pairs to create pieces for our drip mural.  Our goal is to turn all the pieces into a cohesive mural by the end of term.
