Imagine A World With Crystal Clear Oceans

Imagine a world with crystal clear oceans, peaceful, calm and beautiful lands beneath me, I  imagine this too.

As I walk across the soft, warm and spongy sand I trip over a piece of rubbish. I gasp, shocked, I stand back up on my two feet feeling a sharp pain in my left leg. As I slowly look up I see hundreds of pieces of rubbish all over the beach…

Without a second thought I start thinking of what I could do to make this a better place. Seconds turn into minutes, and minutes turn into hours. Out of the corner of my eye I catch a dolphin jump in the air splashing me with cool water. It hit me- I knew exactly what needed to be done. I pulled out my phone and recorded the destruction around me, bottles, plastic and paper, like I was in a dumpster. My video has gone viral as soon as I posted it! All of a sudden I’m surrounded by people picking up rubbish…

More and more people flooded the beach, the crowd bustling with excitement as the rubbish began to disappear. Tired and exhausted, the sky begins to turn dark and the ocean starts to look clean again. I giggle in excitement. I think to myself that the ocean is clean all because of me. I look around and see smiling faces from kids and parents playing in the new ocean and sand. What a wonderful day.

Always clean up after yourself.
