Imagine A World Where Music Comes To Life…

I’ll always remember the day it happened… one day the unbelievable decided to occur, I tapped on something weird and didn’t leave it alone. It all began with a house and I. That was the day I could choose which world I wanted to be in…

Have you ever thought about weird things that can happen in your life? Well maybe I can tell you! You see, I was not having a good day. This was because our old house, the house I was born in, the house I had all my 12 birthdays in, we just had to leave behind. Not to mention my friends and half of my family. To make it worse, the reason why we had to move was because of my parent’s divorce, so mum and I got a new house for us. As soon as I stepped inside the house I felt a weird feeling, luckily, mum told me to go and explore so I did. I saw the bathroom, mum's bedroom and my bedroom. All the rooms were empty except the one I was standing in “a microphone?” I thought to myself. I decided to tap on it and you’ll never guess what happened next...

Without warning the floor began to vibrate so much that I thought the ceiling was going to collapse. Suddenly, I heard my mum scream but it wasn’t because of an earthquake. Well, I thought it was an earthquake... It was because of what was outside, “What happened?!” My mum screamed. At that same moment I realised that our world changed into something I’d never seen before. Our world looked like something out of a fantasy book “but how?” At that moment my eyes went in a different direction because of a faded scream in the distance “what in the world happened here!?” Then I thought and told mum “you know what this reminds me of? Songs I’ve previously heard for some reason.” Mum answered back “yeah… I don’t think that’s it!” “Well then, what do you think happened?” I asked, but I had an idea…

Back to the present…I thought to myself about the idea of what made our world brighter, what made our world so magical and weird. Maybe it all began with that microphone so I decided it was time to get rid of it. It was already tearing our world apart. I sprinted upstairs to find it in the same spot it was on the day before but I noticed something next to it. It was a very old looking book that was torn on the sides with one red ribbon folded down on one of the pages, when I flipped to that page my plan finally came together.

A while later I was gobsmacked that my theory was true, “wait what?” I looked closely and saw that there was a picture of the microphone on that same page. There was something written and it said “to get rid of this curse you must sing this verse” I took a deep breath then I held the microphone in my hand and knew I must do this for the world. I must stop all of this and at that moment the fate of the world was in the palm of my hand.

And that morning I woke up to see my world back to what it was before.
