Imagine A World…Long Ago

How would you feel if you were stuck in a cave full of sweaty men and women with their crazy little kids? The rotten, raw, old meat sitting in the creepy dark corner where bright green moss grows on the crusty blood stained wall. GROSS! Who are these disgusting beasts? Could it possibly be the caveman?

It was a blistering evening and there was a feast in the cave. Raw meat had been drowned in smelly gross blood with thick flies, the size of hippos surrounding the meat.  Meanwhile, the flies were being greedy.  The ants had been gathering on the meat for their mighty queen. No one knew what was going to happen. Something they love would soon be extinct. What must they love so much that will tear them apart? What could it be?

The giant rock closed and the room went dark. The laughter faded rapidly. For once there was silence in the cave. Everyone looked at each other, yet they didn't know if they were looking at each other due to the darkness. Suddenly, the rock opened and brightness hit them. Confusion broke out around the cave. No one knew quite how easily the rock could be opened and closed. Later that night everyone went outside to sleep on the grass

In the morning when everyone was awake they all rushed to eat breakfast when they went to where all the meat in the cave was stored. When they pushed the rock they stared blankly into the room . A room with no meat, but wait, this isn't where all the meat was stored this room was a spare.Everyone was relieved they all then went to the room next to it, opened it and saw a blood stained wall with no meat around it. A  gasp echoed around the room “Where's all the meat?"
“Are we in the wrong room again?”
“I’m sure we're in the right room, the room has blood stained walls.”
“Who selfishly took the meat for themselves?”
There were confused faces and questions that needed to be answered.

“It’s weird, yesterday the rock closed mysteriously and now all the meat is gone."
What will they have for breakfast now? It’s the first time the cavemen are scared, scared of what will happen next. Will they ever find enough meat to fill the room like it used to be? Time slipped slowly, their stomach growling like crazy. Later they started to get mad and they had to hunt for meat. Most of them got their spears and were ready to hunt . With the sky bright blue and the air warm it was a perfect day to fill the room with what was once in it.

They walked out of the cave thinking they would find meat instead a surprise was waiting for them. Not an animal in sight! Could it be? Extinction? They walked through bushes, up trees, down the hills and found nothing. Everyone  looked disappointed.. They had to make a choice, where would their food come from?
Decisions had to be made…
