Imagine A World With A Sprinkle Of Good…
I lay in my room, dark, empty and sad ‘’this world has really been through its share’’ I say, sounding lonely. It seems the hallway to my bedroom door is never ending…
I stand by my bed in the cold empty room, I walk to my door towards the creepy, cold, never ending hallway… I tiptoe down the freezing cold stairs to the door near the vacant living room. As I touch the handle to go outside a shiver goes down my spine, I ignore it and go on. Walking down the lonely neighbourhood going the way I’ve gone for years, all of a sudden the sky turns a slight red… ‘’What's going on?’’ I say worried…
The sky begins to turn a deep red. I run home, as it turns darker and darker I start sprinting in panic. I finally get to the pathway to my house- THE FRONT DOOR IS OPEN! I creep into the deep, dark house… suddenly a large clatter comes from the kitchen. My soul left my body the second I heard the noise, I slowly creep to the abandoned, messy, disgusting room. No one was in the room… my soul hasn't come back to save me from this nightmare… I look out the cold window into the fiery village, I see demons from hell having the time of their lives while the townspeople are running for theirs. Hope seems miles away…
I see silhouettes in the distance, I run through my home and sprint out the door to the shadowy figures. I finally catch up with the townspeople and see my friends and neighbours, they’re being terrorised by the devils hellhounds, the deathly fire. I shout ‘’ COME WITH ME WE NEED TO COLLECT WATER! WE CAN GET TO STOP THIS MADNESS!” We run to all water sources in the town: buckets, hoses, just any water source to fight! ‘’Now it's time to fight WATER with FIRE!’’ I chuckle. We begin to fight, hope seems forever away…
Hours feel like weeks while we fight with the most deadly demon. We finally finished, our task is complete, we finally did it! The world seems brighter, happier and my shoulders feel lighter! I beam with pride and joy that my act of kindness made the world a better place. The sky is now a beautiful glow of what it was before the fire…
A small act of kindness that saved our land…
