Imagine A World Of Drowning

Picture a world of crystal, clear water. As I look up at the beautiful blue sky- peaceful, bright, glowing. Beneath me I can see colourful, tall coral as bright as a rainbow. I'm perched high in the dark green tropical trees… I look down in awe.

Suddenly I feel trembling underneath me. Crack, snap, splash! Deep, dark and terrifying water engulfs me. I feel like the ocean is pulling me under. My heart is racing fast!

Suddenly I see a sharp, thin, bumpy fin surrounding me with anger. I take a deep breath and try to keep calm. The sea animal jumps high out of the water, splashes me with a cold, clear and misty ocean spray. It is nowhere to be found. Seconds feel like minutes and minutes feel like hours, yet I'm still in the crazy, wild, enormous ocean. I prepare for the long journey ahead of me to escape this place. Without warning the sea creature is back and it bites my leg! “HELP!” I yell. Luckily I was able to swim away. I scream in fear as I try to fix the injuries caused by the beast.

A fin is swimming towards me as fast as lighting, I tremble in fear as I try to see what it is… “A DOLPHIN!!” At first I thought it would eat me into pieces, but it is kind, soft, and beautiful. Something catches my eye. The sea monster is back!. I swim in fear faster than a speed boat. My heart pounds like it's about to burst out of my chest! From underneath me comes the dolphin! To my surprise the dolphin launches me onto its back. I cried happily. I yell in relief As the dolphin takes me back to shore.

Then I  sit on the soft, silky, powdery sand as I watch the dolphin jump out of the water and into the ocean with a big grin. I feel amazed- that a dolphin just saved me!. I've learned  to never sit on a log that has an ocean beneath me again.

Looks can be deceiving.
