Imagine A World With No Pollution

I wake up from a magical dream where the world had no pollution. “If only it was real,” I said. Why is the world so polluted? I lie down wishing for that same dream again…

Without warning my family had to escape. We grabbed everything we could and evacuated. The door shoved us out for the final time. We drove away from the smoke, swiftly towards the airport, the raging inferno almost caught us. Tired and exhausted from panic, we tried to stay calm but we just couldn't. The people shouted in chaos. I look back at the town, now engulfed in flames.. Why did we neglect our Earth?

Our challenging trip inland laid ahead. We headed towards parts barely polluted. My family had to walk to a hotel, when we arrived there we checked in and headed up to our room. We woke up the next morning, my dad and I headed out to find a beach. Our         eyes catch snippets of crystal clear water and palm trees dancing in the wind. It must have once been so beautiful. We found a rusty old boat. My dad says that it’s time to make a difference. We set sail on the boat. My dad hands me a trash bag “time to make this beach sparkle again”. I hopped in the ocean and I picked up 1 tonne of trash. I woke up the next day to find out that I was trending. “What happened?” “I Filmed you yesterday,” said dad. “You inspired others to make a difference and clean up our destroyed world”...

Day by day the world was getting cleaner… The president and world leaders commended my efforts- I was so proud. The fire eventually cleared up, we headed back to our house. We returned to find our house in rubble 4 years later. The community helps us rebuild our home. Peace was restored. I could finally breathe again.
