Imagine A World Where The Sun Is Raging

The temperature is cold, cold enough to get hypothermia. The temperature continues to drop- as cold as ice. My bedroom window is filled with frozen snowflakes glued to the glass. The door to my room hasn’t been opened in days, it almost feels like weeks or years… I wish it was warmer.

The ice that has trapped me in an endless cycle of cold begins to change. Icicles and snowflakes melt off the windows, I look out the window shocked, the snow is melting! Hours and minutes go past as the temperature outside starts to rise… the heat starts to feel unbearable. As the water flows steam starts to sizzle like oil on a pan. I never wanted it this warm…
Without warning water starts to turn into lava. Lava is turning into an eternal flame hotter than ever. SIZZLE! CRASH! SPLASH! Lava crashes throughout the land, burning, destroying and devastating the world. I need to escape this madness- I rush to my room and grab all the clothes and supplies I need to flee my home. I race to my car only to find a giant melted heap. I have no choice but to run as far as I can to find a home far away from this place.

Finally I see a glimpse of a village that's up and running with supplies of food and water. Before I can step one foot in the village I almost collapse head first until… I am caught by a villager. They put me on a bed to rest after all this running from everything I’ve been doing. I should have never wished for the weather to change…

Snow turned into lava, lava turned into hell…
